A photographic atlas of characteristic and non-characteristic radiographic features of common and rare bone and joint diseases of the horse.;The text offers a short description of the radiographic findings and the radiographic diagnosis or differential diagnosis. The clinical significance is defined and additional information noted if necessary.;The progress of disease is sometimes demonstrated by serial radiographs. The diagnostic value of additional projections and contrast studies is illustrated and some of the most common pitfalls are presented.;The radiographic projections are described using the standardized nomenclature accepted and approved by the American College of Veterinary Radiology in November 1983.
