"The purpose of this book is to urge, or perhaps I should say to demand, that the Catholic bishops of the United States, speaking collectively, denounce the Democratic Party. More precisely, I ask that the bishops issue a collective pastoral letter denouncing-or at least emphatically censuring-the party, explaining that the party has become an anti-Christian party that no Catholic can in good conscience belong to or support. The party has become the "political arm" of a great atheistic movement the aim of which is to destroy Christianity, especially Catholicism, and replace it with an alternate quasi-religion. The book describes the evolution of atheistic humanism and its various incarnations; it shows how its goal is the undermining and discarding into irrelevancy the Catholic Church in America; and how the U.S. Democratic Party has become the executive arm of the movement"--.
