Publisher's Synopsis

Atelier Oï (derived from Troïka, Russian for Trio) was established in Switzerland in 1991 by three founders with very different professional backgrounds. Active in the fields of architecture, design, interior design, scenography and graphic design, the office is continuously discovering new ways of experimenting with forms, colours and materials. The result is such spectacular objects as the rotating umbrellas "Les Danseuses" at Designers' Saturday, or "Oïphorique", a pulsating light sculpture resembling dancing jellyfish in water. This book represents the first monograph on Atelier Oï, well known from numerous professional publications. The many photos and examples presented in the book highlight the office's unique style and way of working.
