Alan Capelli plays Robert Bowman, a high-rolling playboy, on the hit TV series Rio. At 45 he's hitting his prime in Hollywood. Gina Sanders, a highly qualified executive assistant doesn't hide her condescending and flippant feelings about the celebrity world. She does her best to steel herself from the barrage of questions, statements and out right lewd comments, but each night, Alan feels her silent tears upon his chest. Thrown into a drunken tailspin when he learns that his TV series has been canceled, Alan's drunk and sometimes abusive lifestyle comes crashing down while Gina clings to their son Ryan in the nursery. Begging Gina to stay, Alan begins treatment in order to rebuild the inescapable bond between them. Session by session they piece their lives back together again, finding the love they have for one another is stronger now more than ever.
