The book "Asati-The Adulteress " was first published in 1966 in Odiya language. The book is now translated after 54 years in English. The novella was written by the author when he was 21 years old. The novella is a combination of eternal love with ideas of revolution- to bring change into the life of the common man. The novella raises questions in 1966 whereas in 2020 we have not got answers to the book so far. This is a book of the common man and about the common man- about a protagonist who wants to bring change in society and challenges the status quo. A master piece over the years and a classic in Odiya Literature.
