We had four thousand oxtails, four thousand ox kidneys and four thousand pounds of canned ox tongue. We had seventy-two thousand eggs, ten thousand pounds of butter, five thousand pounds of ice cream powder, one thousand gallons of new fresh milk, two hundred gallons of pure cream and the pantrymen were prepared to make us forty gallons of ice cream every day.
Along the line of vegetables we had sixty tons of Irish potatoes, fifteen thousand pounds of sweet potatoes, nine thousand heads of cabbage, thirty six hundred heads of lettuce, eight thousand pounds of turnips, six thousand pounds of carrots, one thousand pounds of ripe tomatoes, twenty-six hundred pounds of cauli?ower, and twenty-six hundred pounds of eggplant.
