Armani the Horse and Friends starts with the rescue and rehabilitation of a race horse. It then tells the story of the horse's life and about all her animal friends. Armani will become very special, as readers learn just how important love is to animals. Though the book ends at Christmas, there is another book to follow. A sequel titled The Christmas Story is in the works. Explains the author, "I was motivated to write this book to try and tell children that sometimes life is hard and cruel, but if you look, you will find love. There is so much going on that we may forget to notice." She adds, "Sometimes life is hard and cruel, but it doesn't mean it's your fault.
