About the Book: The purpose of this book, Are We Living in the Last Day, is to provide serious Bible students and Christians with the opportunity to critically evaluate the book of Revelation from another possible perspective. This author believes and approaches the book of Revelation from a more favorable Partial Preterist approach. He attempts to demonstrate how the current prevailing end times narrative, the Dispensationalism approach-teaching that the church will be raptured into heaven prior to the future seven-year great tribulation is a gross misunderstanding of this apocalyptic literature written by the apostle John. You will be able to evaluate expert accounts I provide, as it relates to historic natural disasters, along with my overall critique of Dispensationalism's interpretation of Revelation, and decide whether or not the book of Revelation is to be taken literal. You can determine what the strengths and weaknesses are in this writing and draw your own conclusions. About the Author: Chauncey "Slim" Killens has been a street preacher for over forty years and has traveled to major cities around the country, standing on street corners, on university campuses, and in the National Mall of Washington, DC defending truth. He enjoys engaging people from various religious-socio-economic backgrounds, especially those who disagree with him, using sound reason and logic as a persuasive tool. By engaging in dialogue with local residents, students, and vacationers around the country his main goal is to challenge certain claims-defending objective truth and moral absolutes-against the backdrop of new social constructs in America (religious and political) that are redefining and undermining our faith, family, and freedom.
