Publisher's Synopsis
Astronomers have discovered billions of stars. Many stars have orbiting planets with conditions suitable for living beings. For the past 25 years, we earthlings have been trying to make contact with such beings, but without success. Our problem has been that we have only been "on the air" for a total of a few hours, as our microwave signal passes the nearest planets on their way to outer space. What we need is a committed program to broadcast continuously for 24/7, and to listen continuously for a return message. We in America and around the world have technical capability. We just need to get our government leaders to commit.
