Von dieser vorderen Antenne entspringt aber noch ein Ast, der in seinem hellen und zarten Aussehen von dem erwahnten Theile stark abweicht und bei Thorell der Anhang (appendix antennae primi paris) heisst. Ich z�hle drei Gliederf ein kurzes Wurzelglied, welches nahe der Basis des vorhin bezeichneten nach der R�cken?� che abgehenden und schwach gekrummten Doms ent springt; dann ein langes Glied, welches an seiner Ver bindung mit dem dritteri zwei helle, eine gr�ssere in's Breite gehende und eine kleinere schmalere Borste tragt; das kurze Endglied ist am Gipfel ebenfalls mit etwa sechs hellen Borsten besetzt.
