Publisher's Synopsis
This atlas represents a synthesis of clinical anatomy and operative urology, based on the step-by-step dissection of the operative approach on cadavers. Emphasis is placed on surgically related topographic anatomy.;Every step of the approach for various urologic operations is "cut" by the surgeon, "dissected" by the anatomist, and documented by the graphic artist. Almost all the illustrations are drawn from the perspective of the surgeon, and the individual approaches are discribed in a comprehensive text. Anatomic illustrations of the abdominal and pelvic walls, as well as descriptive chapters on the antomy of the retroperitoneal and subperitoneal spaces are included.;The approaches include abdominal wall, retroperitoneum, pelvis, inguinal region, external genitalia and perineum.
