Sarah has been suffering abuse since childhood and at the age of 8, after seeing David Copperfield perform one of his tricks on TV, she decides to "disappear". At twelve, she discovers a mysterious guru, supposedly extraterrestrial, who promises a new life to his followers at a big rave called "frontier". She believes he can put an end to her traumas and suffering and make her disappear. SET is a middle-aged musician in an existential crisis who during his tour finds her after the mysterious disappearance of a man, Mr. Poulez, who was searching for salvation.
