Publisher's Synopsis
2020 marked the seventh year for the Covington Writers Group. Since the year was crazy enough as it was, we decided to let our members submit whatever they felt like working on-while they social distanced in their own spaces, of course. Our cover commemorates the 200th anniversary of John James Audubon's arrival in the Covington-Cincinnati area. In 1820, he worked for the Western Museum and, in his spare time, drew hundreds of birds that migrated along the Ohio River. Although our collection of poems and stories is not as extensive as Audubon's birds, we hope you enjoy our selections in this year's edition. The anthology features works by: Jenny Breeden, Mikey Chlanda, Patti Kay Emerson, Barbara Howard, Dana Ogden, L. N. Passmore, Gary Reed, Alvena Stanfield, B. B. Wellstone and Ed Wise.
