Kat hadn't wanted to return to the underground world of the Aurigan refugees. But giving birth in the outside world of sixteenth-century Earth was too dangerous for a half-Aurigan half-human like her. Thankfully she now has a precious baby daughter, but the price is isolation from the world she knows and loves.
