anonymous is a collection of prose and poetry written over the course of three years. anisah amat ali began writing anonymous oblivious to the fact that it would become what it is today. when she began composing this work, she was writing from a place of needing writing to be a space of healing. it turned into something that she feels is greater than that. this book became a meditation of experiences through learning to love yourself and learning to love someone outside of yourself and practicing all of this loving outside of chaotic and traumatic experiences. this book is a meditation of all of these thoughts, spilled out and cried out onto countless pages. this book isn't searching for any answers. it is not the answer itself.
