All is well in Anglia Forest, for the greatest celebration in the land, the coronation of the Owl King, is coming up, and Annwyn Bluebell is the lucky Spriggin chosen to honor him with a melody. And what's more, the new king is also Annwyn's best friend, the young screech owl, Oscar. But darkness creeps over the land, and Oscar suffers a grievous injury during the ceremony; many believe him to be dead, killed by Annwyn, no less! Escaping an angry mob, she flees into the forest with her friend in hopes of saving his life. So begins the magical and mysterious journey of Annwyn and the Owl King. With her friends desperately searching for her, and the nefarious Nettle Clan using the dark arts to sow chaos, Annwyn will discover her true destiny as she struggles to save the forest from impending doom.
