"Harley Hamilton Tuck lived the adventurous life most people only dream of. Raised on a fruit ranch in Central Washington State, Tuck joined the United States Army Air Corps in 1943 and fought in World War II, spending fifty-five weeks as a Prisoner of War in Austria's Stalag 17B. After returning home, he secured his degree and pursued a long and colorful career in Vocational Agriculture, training teachers and outreach workers in Thailand, Afghanistan and Indonesia for nearly forty years. Tuck is the recipient of multiple honors and awards for his service in military and educational fields and continued to make social contributions on a personal level from his home in Post Falls, Idaho until his death in June, 2010."--.
