Publisher's Synopsis

This is a series of inquiries about the big questions: What is Real? What is True? What does "meaning" mean? And, of course, The Question of God. But what about evil? And what is consciousness, anyway? Ethics Morality? What is love? Drafts are what, for now, seem plausible answers. If you might be wondering about the picture on the front cover, turn the book over. She has momentarily looked up from her own book and is seeing something more clearly than before. Was it something she read? Or was she actually distracted the book by some light going on in her mind? We don't know. And the books behind her, she has not read them yet. But she will. Like you and me, she is on an open road. Philip Solem was born in 1939 and grew up on the Iron Range of Northern Minnesota. He was ordained a Catholic priest, but then married Jackie and has live happily ever after. So far. With her, he wrote Such a Road: Autobiography of a Marriage (2008), By himself he wrote Owlstones: a tale (2015). For now, Phil and Jackie live half-time in Bovey, Minnesota and half-time in San Antonio Tlayacapan, Jalisco, Mexico.
