From the moment of her birth, Duchess Julianna Taraen has been blessed thrice by seven, seventh by thrice. Grandfather Shadow sends her for with the command to unite his scattered followers and lead his people to greatness once again. Julianna must learn to use the gifts Grandfather Shadow has granted her, avoid followers of the God of Death and Inquisitors of the Kingdom of the Sun, and come to terms with her new place in the world.
