Recognizing that this will be the controlling motive in the minds of the shareholders at the coming election, I feel that it is appropriate at this time, to ask them to look into the financial Operations of the former management, and, after such examina tion, to decide, whether, taking these operations as the only guide which experience can give them, there is anything in their history, to justify the restoration to power of those, under whose direction these Operations were carried through.
