Publisher's Synopsis
Rodney Jessup, a pious presidential candidate, hires detective Cody Harper to find out who is threatening him and his family. When Cody arrives at Jessup's palatial estate in Virginia, he meets Tony Vargas, Jessup's bodyguard, and the two realise an immediate connection. As Cody and Tony's attraction heats up, the killer circles closer to Jessup. With the help of Desdemona, Cody's gorgeous cross-dressing persona, Cody intends to close this case quickly and throw the perpetrator in prison. But can things really be that easy? Or is there much more to this case than meets the beautifully mascaraed eye?
