The pain comes. It takes over your body, mind and spirit. Eventually you feel empty.
Suffering a loss or change makes you take a look back and ponder on what got you to this point. Things are not the same. We enter unfamiliar territory.
In this poem you will discover what God requires of us to move forward. The decision is ours. Starting to pick up the pieces, one at a time, is not an easy task. Do you feel you carry this burden alone?
Take a second look. Some things we can control and others we cannot. Our answers lie on what God's plan is for us. Accepting this will lead us to lean on His wisdom and not our own.
About the Author
Sharon Noll is from Pennsylvania. She enjoys listening to country music, the season of autumn and baking. She hopes this message will comfort those who have gone through the loss of someone close to them or a sudden change in circumstances. She wrote this poem while suffering from grief and wishes to dedicate it in remembrance of her mother and father.
