Publisher's Synopsis
This essay introduces an alternative to the unsustainable status quo in Latin American politics. It proposes three things: (1) mobilization of the generations whose futures are at risk because their long term interests are sacrificed to short term special interests, (2) the creation of a Latin American region-state, to balance the disproportionate influence of three empire-states (USA, China and Russia) and (3) the creation of a global Latino Sphere that displaces the elite Anglo Sphere.
