American Indian Rock Art Volume 44 presents an international portfolio of images by award-winning rock art photographer Jeff LaFave and 14 papers documenting research on petroglyphs and pictographs from North America and around the world as presented at the 2017 Annual Conference of the American Rock Art Research Association, with 309 illustrations, most in full color. The papers cover sites in Jaguar Cave of West Texas, North Americas northwest coast, northeastern California, Idaho Cave in Idaho, southwestern states of USA with their connection to the Aztec and Maya glyphs, as well as Butler Wash in Utah to Atlatl Rock in Nevada.
