Publisher's Synopsis
The author who had been a member of the Worldwide Church of God, realizes that most of God's people have not understood that the grave prophetic warnings that was voiced from the pages of the Bible by Mr. Armstrong, was not meant to be fulfilled in his life-time, but are in fact meant for our time. Having understood that we are now at the very culminating point of the end of this civilization and that the dire prophecies of the Bible are now to come upon the American and British peoples, the author is making an effort to show that Mr. Armstrong did voice a warning that is surely going to come to pass -- hence, it is the author's hope that people will wake up and consider the signs of the times and understand that we are at the most dangerous period in human history -- as world troubles and crisis are suddenly going emerge and erupt into global calamity and distress -- leading to the fall of both the United States and Britain. On the other hand, the author also expresses that along with this terrible time of trouble, there is the good news that this is all going to lead to the earth shaking event of the return of Jesus Christ -- who will come to save humanity from itself; from total nuclear annihilation, and usher in time of world-wide peace and happiness for all of mankind.
