Claire Bryte Cloud begins work on her book at Quaker Meadows. She meets a young man who loves to dance and they dance to the jukebox at Bushyhead's Tavern for hours.Her new acquaintance is smitten with Claire and comes over to the ranch to visit.Spring is tornado season in Oklahoma and Claire gets a call from Thomas Winkler - their friend who is a meteorologist at the Weather Channel warning her to keep a 'weather eye."The next Saturday night pales in comparison to Claire's first Saturday night in Oklahoma. Sitting in a barbeque joint listening to a senior citizen's pot and pan band isn't what Claire envisioned when Bett and Sal promises wild weekends.Claire misses Juno Carver so she invites him and her Dad to visit Meteor for her final week. She begs and pleads with her Dad to come because Juno has already said he won't come alone.Their last week at the Shine Ranch offers some big surprises.
