Publisher's Synopsis
When photographer Bob Farese Jr. moved to a new city in 2015, he began taking street photos, alert to interesting perspectives and wandering glimpses of the everyday. His thoughtful, candid observations are punctuated by bursts of light and colour, pointing to beauty in the banal. Guided by a mentor, Laura El-Tantawy, he continued his personal photographic journey over a period of five years. More than 100 photographs taken by Farese during this period are included in this first monograph. The work reflects his experiences upon his arrival there, the desire for connection, and the newfound sense of lonliness.
