Publisher's Synopsis
At the beginning of the 21st century, which powers of cohesion are strong enough to keep societies - ecclesiastical communities included - together? At present time, given the post/modern phenomena of pluralization, we find ourselves unable to answer this question in a normative way. There is the need for innovative interpretative approaches. An international research project of the College of Philosophy and Theology in Muenster and the M.-Dominique Chenu Institute in Berlin looked into new forms of community building. This bilingual book documents important results.
