Passing through a time regressing chronometric wave, the crew of the Iridium Rainbow awake from stasis with the ship hurtling out of control and unable to avoid crashing into an Earth that has been regressed to a time when the planet was in its most dangerous prehistoric era.
With a damaged ship and failing technology, their mission is scrubbed and the crew's priorities change as they are forced to embark on a dangerous journey to retrieve the vital minerals needed to repair their engines.
Immediately, their quest turns into a terrifying fight for survival.
Faced with a changing environment, the crew must somehow deal with unspeakable dangers as they race to stay ahead of huge, aggressive predators and the next time wave.
With their health failing and the number of devastating injuries growing, their chances of making it back to the ship quickly fade.
