This outcomes-based series offers a new and innovative way of teaching English reading, writing, comprehension and spelling skills for the Foundation Phase. It's method has been researched and tested successfully for over four years. The series consists of Learners' Workbooks and Teachers' Manuals and is based on co-operative learning, where learning to read and write is made interactive and enjoyable. It also makes use of fun hand signals and stories with local content. The learning skills that will be developed are: spatial relationships, auditory and visual memory, formation of letters and words, writing skills, figure-ground training, sequencing and discrimination, phonic blends, vocabulary and reading.
