Gradually, we will come to know the development of the investigation from three perspectives: a true-crime genre documentary film about the events, the manuscript of a thriller signed under a pseudonym by someone very close to the family, and the testimony of Ramón Santolaya, a Spanish writer and diplomat whom the president of the Republic of Fotheringale trusts to uncover what really happened to his friends.
