Moyet became famous as half of the duo Yazoo, known as Yaz in the US, but has since mainly worked as a solo artist. Alison has 23 million certified album sales worldwide, along with over 2 million singles. All 9 of her studio L.Ps and 3 compilation albums have entered the Top 30 in the UK Album Chart, with two of the L.Ps topping the charts. Moyet's also had 9 Top 30 singles and 5 Top 10 hits in the UK Singles Chart. Her most recent album, her 9th, Other, was released on 16th June 2017.
