Publisher's Synopsis
According to the scriptures, humans believed they were invincible, the chosen ones, the only intelligence in the universe. UFO sightings were dismissed, considered wild imagination by scientists and the military. Nothing could penetrate the Earth's satellite network or travel vast interstellar distances. The arrogance of the humans is their downfall, discarding the foretold uncovered centuries ago, in the parchments of pharaoh scribes, of an alien race materialising from the sky descending to Earth. No one believed the end would come, the clock ticking, determining the time of redemption by an alien race. What were the aliens attempting to achieve? Had they visited Earth thousands of years ago? Have they returned to conquer Earth or to continue their experiments? Oliver, Camping on Moen Hill, shaken in his sleeping bag, suspecting an earthquake, scrambled from his tent. Only to observe the devastation unfold before his eyes; distorted bodies falling from the dark sky, smouldering in the grass. Armageddon had arrived; would he or anyone else survive?
