Publisher's Synopsis
Samiya learnt how to fit in early on. A mixed-race face in an all-white school doesn't have much choice. She had no idea just how good being different could feel, until she spent the summer in Yemen getting to know her grandmother. It was a revelation seeing where, and how, her father grew up. It should have been the start of a treasured relationship, but it ended up being the start of something else.
