According to Ed, plenty. To escape who he is and the unsolvable mathematical story-problems entrenched in his brain by his long-dead father, Ed takes on the identity of another individual. But his well-grounded wife, who sits in his head, does her best to keep Ed in the real world and to come to terms with whom he really is.
