In contrast to earlier publications on agricultural meteorology and climatology, which primarily focused on theoretical aspects, this publication devotes a greater proportion of its content to practical applications. The book is comprised of ten chapters, each addressing a different aspect of crop-weather interaction and agro-met observatory, agro-climatic analysis, crop micro-meteorology, remote sensing, crop simulation models, weather codes and their management, integrated weather forecast and agro advisories, climate change, livestock climatology/meteorology, and astro-meteorology.
