Albania: the waning years of Communism. A young man, working for the state-controlled media agency, has fallen in love with the daughter of a government official. During the May 1st parade the young man sees the ghostly image of Agamemnon, the terrifying general of the ancient Greeks. Instinctively, he senses catastrophe.
