In the second book, The Case of the Howling Dog, Nilia encounters enumerable challenges but is promised a happy ending. Things take an unforeseen turn in the The Case of the Flickering Light, the third book in the series. The Case of the Disappearing Anch, the fourth book, is currently being written.
