Hundreds of years later, a newly-married couple stumble upon evidence of this man's quest in antiquity. Their discovery lands them in trouble with unscrupulous criminal elements, whose aims are purely mercenary. Mark Cotterell has travelled extensively in the course of his career, and he and his family have lived in several countries, where they have sought to identify with the local cultures whenever possible. They are fascinated by the languages, history and politics of the places where they have been. Mark's leisure interests include sailing and hiking.
