And the result? I was a true California liberal with a "if it feels good, do it." attitude. This mindset led me and my kids through years of addiction, struggle, heartache and jail. In fact, it's only been in the last few years that we have learned the values that I teach in these books. Our family has since overcome our past, and are a true success story!
