Publisher's Synopsis

The introduction of the new Magnetom Vision system signals a considerable advance in MRI technology. It is a commercially available system with three full functional high gradients (25mT/m) and EPI booster capability. This reflects a tremendous challenge of fast and ultrafast MRI techniques. This new technology opens up wider horizons for many MR applications, which has been limited to very few experimental installations. This book of proceedings summarizes the presentations given at the First Magnetom Vision User Conference held in June 1995 at Bochum, Germany, and reflects the latest advances in a non–experimental clinical setting.
