Publisher's Synopsis
Adam is autistic but when his mother buys him a pet cat, Oscar, he is able to "think talk" with him. He soon finds that he can communicate with all mammmals and makes such progress that he is able to attend the local comprehensive. However, Adam soon discovers sinister happenings in his town.
