This is a textbook for the new CIB Stage 2 post-Wilkinson syllabus and other courses such as CIB Stage 2 Accountancy students, other Foundation level students of accountancy for IPS, CIM, ICSA, BTEC Higher National Diploma and DMS, MBA, BA business studies students.;Chapters have been arranged from the syllabus topic order, the simple topics being introduced first, each chapter progressing in its degree of difficulty. The first chapter is intended as a general introduction and guide to passing the examination, the second as a basic revision of accounting methods that should have already been encountered. Each chapter then covers the theory, the practical application of preparing the accounting document, tips on obtaining maximum marks and how to avaoid common pitfalls, key-point summaries, links with previous topics and finally a simplified worked example of an exam-type question plus a full actual past-examination question fully worked and a selection of previous exam questions, with not-form answers.
