Celeste Hope is recently widowed with a pile of debts. She's finding it hard to juggle her money woes. She finds a suitcase of cash and the temptation to use it becomes too much. She knows it's wrong to use it, but the mounting bills make that decision for her when they come to repossess her car. The person that it belongs to sends a proxy to collect. He's a collector named Brody Lee. He usually doesn't make things personal until he falls for Celeste. Unfortunately, this means he has to play the part of a handyman without telling her the truth. He decides to stay and cultivate a relationship, to his employer's chagrin. He doesn't take kindly to his disobedience. Celeste is unaware of his unsavory natures until she is already falling for him. What happens when the reality is stranger than fiction?
