Liber est divisa in duas partes, quarum prima continet descriptionem geographiam Aegypti, et secunda continet descriptionem historiam Aegypti. Abulfeda fuit princeps Damascenus et geographus Arabus saeculi XIII, et in hoc libro describit Aegyptum cum maxima diligentia et accurata.
