During a routine investigation in Cape Town, South Africa, Michael discovers a cult, bent on resurrecting an ancient evil deity. The cult, and the depraved serial killer in their employ, are traversing the globe and leaving a trail of dead bodies in their wake. It is up to Michael, and his brilliant partner Gabrielle, to stop the ritual before more people, including themselves, are murdered.
Looming over the journey, from the slopes of Table Mountain to the heart of Africa, is the constant knowledge that failure will lead to a primordial malevolent goddess rising from her slumber and inflicting nightmarish evil upon the world.
