Publisher's Synopsis
Abigail, a young Switch Witch, loves her job of zipping
around the world on the day after Halloween, switching
the mortal children's Halloween candy for gifts. But though
she loves the candy and loves leaving gifts, her favorite
part of the job is reading the notes from the children
hidden among the wrappers. They always make her laugh
(sometimes she laughs so much she falls right into her
mother's brewing cauldron).
These notes are addressed to the Switch Witch, asking if
she's real, asking if she's just their parents pretending, or
apologizing if there's not as much candy because their dog
ate it (this one was one of her favorites). But, this year,
Abigail learns that one of the kids is being bullied for
being different. Horrified, Abigail is determined to do
whatever she can to make it right, and to help these kids
she's come to love learn the truth that she knows deep in
her heart.

heartwarming story about practicing kindness and
embracing our differences. Because, in Abigail's words, being
different is the best thing in the world.
