The day of June 17th was gloriously fine though not too hot. Parents and relatives and Old Boys began to arrive early by train and motor, and a very large number was entertained to luncheon. Punctually at the Cadet Corps paraded on the field and marched into their seats in the Chapel. Then the guests followed, but so many were there that every seat was filled, chairs were placed in the aisles and many had to stand.
