Publisher's Synopsis
The Trojan War has left the life that the archer Angelus knew in dust and rubble. Guiding a priest on a pilgrimage to the sacred tomb of Orpheus among the rugged Thracian mountains, he must put his sorrows behind him and strive to rise above the forces which still haunt him. He finds, however, not new light along his journey, but more adversity, more savagery, and a disturbing prophecy. What else will he discover amid the shadows of a wild land and a vengeful god's golden bow?
