Publisher's Synopsis
In Book 29, Pawel Andruszkiewicz is 36 years of age and experiences the 'time bomb' effect of getting older. Inside, he feels the need to get married, settle down, raise a family, and live the American Dream. But his choices have also dwindled with time. His oldest love Bernice refuses him, Jana has married, Françoise, has accepted to being just friends. And a new girl, Helle from Copenhagen, is willing if he would move to Denmark. Nikki is also married, but willing to divorce her husband for him. Marcia is in the same situation as Nikki. She, too, would drop everything to have him back. But Pav felt neither of these girls a safe bet for a lifetime relationship. Lori is a single mom with two young boys and wants to marry him. But her two boys scare him away. He didn't want a ready-made family with boys that were strange to him and an ex-husband coming into his life every other weekend. He breaks away from her twice and she continues to come back. Pav decides that life has meant for him to be a bachelor and live life alone. He prays to Mother Mary for help.
